About This Project
This project for Antony Watson in Salisbury East involved the complete removal of an old solar setup (10 x 330W panels) and the installation of a high-capacity modern energy system. Completed on September 24, 2025, by Sunbeam Solar & Electrical Solutions, the upgrade significantly boosts energy independence. The new installation features a 15.84kW solar array consisting of 36 JA Solar 440W panels. This is coupled with a large-scale 36kWh SAJ battery storage unit (Model B2-20.0-HV1) to store excess energy. The system utilizes a dual-inverter configuration with a Solis 10kW grid-tied inverter and a SAJ 10kW hybrid inverter to manage the substantial generation and storage capacity efficiently.
