About This Project
This project for Jamie Ludewig in Elizabeth Vale, South Australia, involved the installation of a new 10.12kW solar photovoltaic system and a substantial battery storage solution. Completed on September 25, 2025, by Sunbeam Solar & Electrical Solutions, the system is designed to provide significant energy independence for the single-story residence. The installation features 23 high-efficiency Canadian Solar panels (440W each) connected to a 10kW SAJ H2 series hybrid inverter. To capture and store excess solar energy, a 20kWh SAJ B2 series high-voltage battery system was installed, consisting of four 5.0kWh modules. This robust setup allows for increased self-consumption and provides backup power capabilities. The system is grid-connected and fully compliant with all relevant Australian standards.
